Custom WordPress Plugins & API Integrations

When your website needs to do something specific.

Custom WordPress plugins and API integrations for businesses with information to publish, systems to connect, or a workflow their existing plugins cannot handle.

Is this what you need?

A practical starting point.

For business owners, museums, content teams, and agencies with a defined workflow and access to the systems involved.

Copying information between systems can become a recurring job. A custom integration can bring the right data into WordPress and give your team a controlled way to refresh it. We start with the data, permissions, and failure cases before choosing an approach.

Example package / Custom estimate

One workflow, connected

$3,000–$10,000+ USD planning range

A defined starting scope to help you plan. Your proposal confirms the deliverables, schedule, and price.

Discuss this package

What a scope can include

  • A defined workflow and review of the available API documentation
  • An example scope: one source API feeding a WordPress display
  • A custom plugin with the agreed administration controls
  • Data mapping, refresh behavior, and error handling within the agreed scope
  • Testing with representative data, documentation, and a support plan

Quoted separately

API subscriptions, cloud usage, messaging fees, large data cleanup, multiple systems, and ongoing monitoring are separate unless included. Complex projects may start with paid technical discovery; the proposal explains how that relates to the implementation fee.

Bring what you have.

Bring an example of the current workflow, API documentation if available, the information that should move, and who will manage the result. We arrange credentials separately.

Planning the project

A few useful details.

Could an existing plugin do the job?

Possibly. I review existing options first. Custom development is useful when the workflow, data, or administration needs do not fit a supported existing solution.

What kinds of integrations have you built?

My work includes a NetX collection plugin with local image downloads and a refresh process, plus a service-status plugin with configurable departments and notifications. The portfolio explains those projects.

What happens when the API changes?

Support responsibilities are part of the plan. Third-party changes may require maintenance or additional development, which can be covered by an ongoing agreement or a separate scope.

Is discovery included in the range?

The range is a planning guide for implementation. A complex or unclear project may need a separately quoted discovery phase. Any discovery fee and its relationship to the later build are stated before it begins.
